Terms & Call Acknowledgment

Thank you for booking a call with Kate’s Pack. This page explains what to expect before, during, and after a Dog Guidance Call.
By submitting an intake form and booking a call, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
1. Purpose of the Call
Dog Guidance Calls are designed to provide general dog education, guidance, and discussion based on the information you submit before your call.
These calls may include topics such as:

Breed research and breed fit

Breeder red flags
-
Puppy preparation
-
General dog ownership decisions
-
Grooming and coat maintenance considerations
-
Training direction and behavior-related discussion
-
Questions about choosing or preparing for a dog
The goal is to help you think through your situation more clearly and make more informed decisions.
2. General Guidance Only
Kate’s Pack provides general dog education and guidance only.
Kate’s Pack does not provide:

Veterinary advice
-
Legal advice
-
Financial advice
-
Emergency advice
-
Guaranteed behavioral outcomes

A substitute for an in-person trainer, veterinarian, behaviorist, attorney, or other licensed professional
If your dog is experiencing a medical issue, safety concern, bite risk, emergency, severe behavior issue, or anything that could put a person or animal at risk, you should contact the appropriate qualified professional directly.
3. Intake Form and Submitted Information
Before your call, you may be asked to submit information about your situation, dog, breeder, questions, concerns, or goals.
Kate may use the information you submit to prepare for the call and make the best use of your scheduled time.
Please be as accurate and complete as possible. The quality of the guidance provided may depend on the information you choose to share.
Kate’s Pack cannot guarantee that every uploaded file, screenshot, message, document, or detail will be reviewed in full. Submitted materials are used to help Kate understand your situation and prepare for the conversation.
4. Call Format
Calls take place through Google Meet.
You do not have to turn your camera on. You are welcome to treat the call like a normal phone call if you prefer.
You do not need a Gmail or Google account to join the call. At your scheduled time, you will use the Google Meet link provided in your booking confirmation or calendar invite.
5. Call Length
Your call is limited to the amount of time booked.
A 30-minute call includes up to 30 minutes of call time.
A 60-minute call includes up to 60 minutes of call time.
If your situation requires more time than the scheduled call allows, Kate may recommend booking an additional call or pursuing more in-depth support. You are not required to do so.
6. Follow-Up Expectations
Dog Guidance Calls include the scheduled call time only.
Additional follow-up, continued review, ongoing support, extra research, written summaries, or additional questions are not included unless specifically stated or separately agreed upon.
Kate may choose to send a brief follow-up note, resource, or clarification at her discretion, but follow-up communication is not guaranteed.
7. Recordings
Calls may be recorded for quality, documentation, and internal reference.
Recordings are not guaranteed to be provided to the client unless specifically stated.
If a recording is provided, it is for personal reference only and may not be publicly posted, redistributed, edited, or used out of context without written permission from Kate’s Pack.
8. Rescheduling and No-Shows
Please make sure you are available at the time you book.
If you need to reschedule, please do so as early as possible using the rescheduling option in your booking confirmation, if available, or by contacting Kate’s Pack.
If you miss your scheduled call or arrive too late to complete the call within the scheduled time, the call may be considered completed and may not be eligible for a refund.
Kate’s Pack may reschedule a call if needed due to illness, emergency, technical issues, scheduling conflict, or another reasonable circumstance.
9. Refunds
If Kate determines before the call that your situation is outside the scope of this service or that she is unable to provide helpful guidance, your booking may be refunded.
Once the scheduled call has taken place, the service is considered completed.
Refunds are not provided based on disagreement with the guidance, personal preference, dissatisfaction with the answer, or the outcome of any decision you make before, during, or after the call.
Kate’s Pack cannot guarantee a specific result, decision, breeder outcome, training outcome, behavior outcome, purchase outcome, or personal outcome.
10. Client Responsibility
You are responsible for the decisions you make before, during, and after the call.
Kate’s Pack may provide guidance, opinions, education, questions to consider, red flags to watch for, and possible next steps, but you are ultimately responsible for how you use that information.
You should use your own judgment and seek qualified professional help when appropriate.
11. Respectful Communication
Kate’s Pack reserves the right to end or decline a call if communication becomes inappropriate, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, unsafe, or outside the intended purpose of the service.
12. Privacy and Use of Information
Information submitted through intake forms is used to review your situation, prepare for your call, provide guidance, and manage the service.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information that is not relevant to your dog-related question.
Kate’s Pack will not intentionally share your private submission details publicly without permission. However, general educational themes may be discussed in future content without identifying you personally.
13. Technical Issues
Because calls take place online, occasional technical issues may happen.
If a technical issue prevents the call from happening or meaningfully disrupts the call, Kate’s Pack may offer a reasonable solution, such as rescheduling or continuing the call in another practical way.
14. Agreement
By submitting an intake form and booking a Dog Guidance Call, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Call Acknowledgment.
